GD-401 is a moly treatment for plain SAE 80W-90 Ger Oils typically used in automotive gear cases (such as motorcycle final drives), manual transmissions (not with wet clutches), and differentials (not limited slip). (Use GD-422 for SAE 85W-140 or straight SAE 140 weight gear oils.) These gear oil are also called GL-5 and hypoid. Four (4) fl oz treats one (1) quart.

GD-401 Moly Treatment for Gear Oils is a multipurpose treatment for all grades of oils, both GL-5 hypoid and GL-4 industrial, including multiviscosity gear oils. It may also be used as a treatment to standard transmissions, differentials, and other applications calling for gear oil. NOT RECOMMENDED WITH LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIALS and WET CLUTCHES.
