GD-452 Moly Treatment for Synthetic Engine Oils is premium treatment. 

GD-452 is a synthetic hydrocarbon formulation. It contains no hydro processed mineral oil, and it is not a blend of mineral oils and synthetic oils. 

Molybdenum disulfide "moly" is a a solid film lubricant with a low coefficient of friction and an affinity for steel.  The moly decreases fricition of the two counter-moving sliding surfaces in the engine by filling in microscopic pores of the metal surfaces and plating out over the surface.  The moly will not settle out, and it will flow through all standards filters.  GD-452 is especially beneficial in the prevention of "dry starts" where most of wear in cylinders takes place. 

Guard Dog lessens metal-to-metal contac to reduce friciton and wear.

Reducing friction means helping to keep the oil within specification by reducing frictional heat, heat that otherwise promotes oxidation.
