TS-100 is a general purpose compound with many uses: protectant for electrical and electronic parts; protectant for parts on ships subject to salt water and air; a sealant for gaskets, rubber and metal parts; a grease for water valves, faucets, and stems; a thread protectant and mold release agent.

TS-100 is a (tacky) silicone compound that "sticks" to surfaces. It is water repellent, chemically inactive, dielectric, hydrolytically stable, non-corrosive and radiation resistant, corrosion and chemically resistant. It works in a wide range of temperatures.

TS-100 may be cleaned by the use of hydrophobic solvents, such as chlorinated ethanes, toluene, hexane, and mineral spirits. Hydrophylic solvents, such as alcohol, ketones, ether, and water, will not dissolve TS-100.
