TS-480 Wire Rope L&P is a fluid designed for wire rope subjected to corrosive attack by salt air, salt spray and salt water, but it may be used in any outdoor application. (For wire rope in service submerged in salt water -- or fresh water TS-210 Cable Lubricant (a grease) is recommended.)

TS-480 is a premuim fluid lubricant for wire rope used in severe applications. It will penetrate to the core. After the solvent carrier evaporates, a thin film of oil remains on the surface providing a lubricant that withstands extreme pressure and a protectant against rust and corrosion for prolonged periods of time. Even with intermittent submersion in water, TS-480 will remain effective, but experience will determine the frequency required for relubrication.
